How TMS works
If you’ve already tried two or more treatments to fight depression and nothing has worked, TMS may be right for you. During your TMS sessions, you’ll be welcomed into a private, clean, spa-like space where you’ll simply sit back and enjoy some music as a specialized transcranial headpiece emits gentle targeted magnetic pulses. Are there any side effects ?
Unlike deep brain stimulation or vagus nerve stimulation, TMS does not require surgery or implantation of electrodes. And, unlike electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), TMS does not cause seizures or require sedation.

some people may experience a few mild, short-lasting side effects, including headache, scalp discomfort at the site of stimulation, or lightheadedness.
